How to get Here

  1. On foot as they did in 1607 from the three counties of Leicestershire, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire, from Lutterworth [Walk 3: assemble Wycliffe Memorial 10.00am or 11.00am], Hillmorton, Rugby [Walk 1: assemble Hillmorton Locks 8.45am]or Lilbourne [Walk 2: assemble Motte & Bailey 10.00am], in 17 th Century gear if you like and bringing your tools; more information on the Quattrocentenary Walks page.

  3. By bus – Norman Barsby of Hi-Drive coaches provided a shuttle service from and to Lutterworth throughout the day. Norman can be reached on 0771 3030193 if you require his coaches for private hire or airport transfers -on the day, or any time.
  4. By train – to Rugby station, then catch the 140 Woods bus from Clifton Rd/stand D (dep. 8.55, 10.55), or Tescos (dep. 9.02, 11.02) which arrives in Cotesbach at 9.17am or 11.17am. This service bus will stop in the lay-by opposite Irene's Cafe just past the Lutterworth end of Cotesbach.
