Music and Entertainments

Building on the success of the last three years’ ‘Music in the Yard’ festivals, the Quattrocentenary featured a wide variety of music, covering both contemporary and 17th Century, including Rory McLeod , Sally Barker , The Original BackroomBoys , The Endless Knot , Jack Flatt among others and Barry Patterson the man to set the pace on stage, to introduce them all, and keep us connected to the land.

The line-up also included wandering minstrels Joy and Derrick Hughes , and Bruce and The Elastic Band.

The Quattrocentenary Celebrations also saw AN EVENING OF LIVE MUSIC in the Stable Yard, with many others playing - including musicians new to the Stable Yard as well as ones who have entertained us so brilliantly on previous occasions - including the Manos Puestas Quartet, the Booze Brothers, Mary Anne Ratcliffe, Oliver Kennett, Gareth Burt, Majk and Mark and more...
