The Quattrocentenary Walk
The Quattrocentenary event allowed visitors to walk from the three surrounding counties like the peasants did in 1607, in symbolic reenactment, to commemorate them and to show you care about climate change, sustainability and cutting carbon emissions... visitors completing one of the walks recieved a special welcome and a free souvenir of the event.

Many arrived in 17th Century style dress, and brought tools to the event, just as the folks did in 1607 – but instead of using them to pull out hedges, we dontated good garden tools to local gardening projects through OFfA and BTCV and broken ones were recycled as part of a commemorative sculpture by local artist, Worzel.
